| Greetings, hello, hi, and bloop. I'm Shiny. I'm thirteen years old. I live a life which I should be happy for being blessed with, but I have a few slight personality disorders and a very real sleep disorder, so I often look at it with a very short short temper, which, by the way, runs in my family. There are some things that can ease the irritation: art, spelling, writing, chatting with Gaz and Tinga, roleplaying, for example. Before you talk to me, know this: I love new acquaintances. If I watch you, there's no telling whether or not I'll comment on things you do unfortunately due to my short attention span, but it means that I quite like you. I'm sort of stingy with my watches. It's very hard to anger me, but I can put together a venomous insult if I wish, so my advisory is: Don't be a hater, don't worship yaoi/yuri pairings, and for god's sake, don't flame senselessly. Isn't life too short? Make the most of it. Warning: My mother works at a museum, at which she writes the labels that describe paintings, amongst other things. She has been teaching me about typos, grammar, and spelling since I started to read at age two. Therefore, I have become a spelling Nazi. I usually try to restrain myself from nitpicking to an extreme, but if I've had a rough time during my day, I might correct a mistake or two. Please don't take offense; I'm trying to educate you. >___> I don't like chatspeak in excess, and I usually use the phonetic pronunciation spellings. Use too much of it and you might slip a notch reputation-wise. Now, about my personality and sleep disorders. I suffer from a condition in which when I go to sleep I slip straight into the deepest form of it, which does not actually revive me as much as other forms of sleep. I've been lucky enough to work on curing it, but here's an example of how screwed up I am because of it: Until this year, I was lucky to have.. maybe... four dreams a year. Going hand in hand with this disorder is a little something called perfectionism. In my world, everything needs to be close to perfect or else it simply won't do. From save files to assignments to, indeed, the very art that I put on this site, imperfection drives me mad. Along with my parents, who are incredibly intelligent people and always try to make me as amazing as themselves, and a childhood of being at the bottom of the pecking order and taunted senselessly, I'm a freak over flawlessness. ....Now doesn't that sound way too serious? Explanation: As I'm typing this, no one's on. If any of my friends were on, within five minutes I would typically thaw and be bouncing off the walls. Well, I have matured a great deal within the past year. But still. Thus, normally I'm a hyper freak. My main interests (you know, freaky fangirl-wise): Earthbound These games are BRILLIANT. About three-quarters of a year ago, I hit a wall for entertainment. Things just didn't grab my attention the way they used to. Then I was introduced to a certain Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and the game served the exact playable advertisement campaign purpose it's supposed to. I did my research on my main, Lucas, and, well, the rest is history. Although I'm not quite the goody two-shoes protagonist supporter I once was. Over the summer, all of the LucasxNess disgusting-ness basically killed my interest temporarily. Then, in the last week of the summer, my beloved friend Gazer introduced me to one Mr. Pokey Minch. >:3 Pigmasks Forever! <3 Pokemon I've been a Pokemon fan since, basically, before I can remember. When I was very small I got a Squirtle whistle at my daycare. Pokemon is as old as I am and we've grown together. Basically, Pokemon taught me how to draw, inspired me, pulled me through some of the darkest times in my life (namely, fifth and sixth grade XD)... An indelible mark on the fabric of my life. <3 Percy Jackson and the Olympians I was introduced to these books in fifth grade and have been hooked ever since. The trials and torments of our protagonists, Percy, entertained me countless times... again, until this year, that is, when I simply fell in love with the Son of Hades, Nico di Angelo. Indeed, I write TTC, and getting inside Nico's head is the easiest thing ever. He's just so witty and sarcastic... Man alive. These books are sexy. Read them. >:C The Secret Saturdays Most of what's on TV is crap. This isn't. The Nightmare Before Christmas Actually, tomorrow is me and TNBC's first anniversary! I saw this movie for the first time in 3-D on November 2nd, 2008. Holy nuts, it's brillianttttt~ Other, Smaller Stuff Digimon Sonic Transformers Coraline Bleach Pairings I Actually DO Like EmeraldxDream SilverxBlaze Shadamy JeffxTony (lol I know... crack pairing... whatevs. 'Tis Earthbound. XD) But mainly, and this is going to be sort of hard to explain... PokeyxViolet. >___> I know, I know, official character x OC. I normally REALLY don't like those pairings, man, but I think that's because a lot of them include Mary Sues. Emgee's my fave out of all of my characters, and I tried to make her original. Nngh. They're just... so cute and fluffy. Like rabbits. ...Wait, that's wrong. Ew.
